Tactic 3v3
Pick the play, kick off, and outsmart a football AI that learns your tricks
by tset
About
A football game where you're the coach, not the player.
You pick the play. Your three players run it. Real physics decides the rest.
Plan it, then watch it happen
Every attack starts with a choice. Go down the wing? Play a quick one-two? Thread a through ball? Tap a play, tap Kick off, and watch the move unfold.
Want more control? Drag your players and their run flags to design your own moves. Choose who passes, who shoots, and when.
Then it's your turn to defend. Put a keeper in goal, press the ball, mark the danger man, or park the bus.
The AI learns
Use the same play twice and the AI reads it. Its defenders step into your passing lanes and mark your shooter before you even kick off.

So you have to keep changing it up. Fool it once and it's a goal.
Every kick is different
- Passes, shots and tackles run on a real physics engine.
- Close-range chances drop into slow motion.
- Shots hit the post, keepers dive, rebounds fall loose.
- Goals get confetti, crowd noise and commentary.
Quick matches
A match is 4 attacks and 4 defences, about 2–3 minutes. Play it on your phone held upright or on a desktop. No sign-up needed.
How to play
Goal
Score more goals than the AI in 4 rounds. Each round you attack once, then defend once. Each play lasts up to 12 seconds.
- Attack: score before the red team wins the ball or time runs out.
- Defend: win the ball or hold out for 12 seconds.
Don't repeat a play. The AI remembers it and gets ready for it.
Touch (phone or tablet)
- Tap a play under the pitch.
- Tap Kick off.
- Watch it play out.
Optional: open Fine-tune to change each player's action and timing. Drag a blue player to move them. Drag a yellow flag to change their run.
Mouse
- Click a play, then click Kick off.
- Drag blue players and yellow flags on the pitch to customise.
- Use the Fine-tune menus to set who passes, who shoots, and when.
Keyboard
- Tab moves between buttons and menus. Enter picks a play.
- Space kicks off.
- Arrow keys change the Fine-tune menus.
- Moving players by hand needs a mouse or touch. Every preset play works without it.
Gamepad
Not supported.
Tips
- Passes into empty space (Through ball) beat a high defence.
- Long shots rarely go in. Get close first.
- Speed: 2x during a play makes it run faster.
- The 🔊 button mutes the sound.
How it fits “Best football game”
Football-themed: a 3v3 football match on a full pitch with goals, keepers, passes, through balls, tackles and saves.
Understood in 10 seconds: the screen says it: Pick a play, then Kick off. You attack, then you defend. Score more than the AI.
Simple controls: one tap picks a play (Wing Play, One-Two, Through Ball, Overload), one tap kicks off. Then you watch the move unfold. Dragging players and flags to design your own plays is optional.
Portrait on mobile: on a phone held upright the pitch turns so you attack up the screen. The play buttons and Kick off sit right under the pitch. Touch targets are enlarged for fingers. Tested at 720×1280.
Fun and engaging: every play runs on real physics, so no two kicks are the same. Close-range shots go into slow motion. Goals get confetti, crowd noise and commentary. The AI remembers your plays: use the same one twice and it reads it and shuts it down, so you have to keep mixing it up.
1–3 minute rounds: a full match is 4 attacks and 4 defences. Each play lasts at most 12 seconds, so a match takes about 2–3 minutes.
No registration: it starts instantly. Leaderboard and awards use Gamero's optional sign-in. The game never waits for them.
Small: the whole upload is well under 1 MB.
Original: an original design (plan the move, watch it play out against an AI that adapts to you). It is not based on any existing game.
